Holiday Farm is starting to dry out from the Grand River flooding but swans could be seen swimming in a still flooded area this morning.
Bluebirds occupy Holiday Farm year-round and I found one on a wire.
Further down the road, a neighbor was 'free-ranging' his chickens and a loud, obnoxious rooster seemed to be asserting his dominance over their activities.
And finally, the pre-school farm was very quiet except for a pair of bleating billy goats who needed only the smallest billy goat and a troll under the bridge to complete the tableau.
Cheers to lovely days and absent trolls.
